UT-SNU Joint E-Lecture:
This course is a joint on-line lecture provided by the University
of Tokyo and the Seoul National University. The classrooms of two universities will be connected by the Internet, and students will listen to lectures given by instructors of each university (Professor Dukgeun AHN of the SNU and Associate Professor Takashi SHIMIZU) and to discuss with other students of the SNU and UT. In addition to these, students are expected to make a presentation in collaboration with SNU students.
This course will focus on the current situation and the future of East Asian Economies and their cooperation.
Students who want to participate in this lecture are strongly
recommended to come to the orientation session that will be
held on October 9th, Thursday, 16:20- at the Remote Lecture Room
(E49), the Information Education Building. Enrollment limited to 40 for UT students.

Fall Term
- University of Tokyo: October 6, 2008 (MON) – January 30, 2009 (FRI)
- Seoul National University: September 1 (MON) – December 12 (FRI)
*Joint lectures will be held from October to December, the period of which both universities are in their Fall term.
- U.T : junior and senior students at college of Arts and Sciences ,International Students.
- SNU: around 20-30 students; mainly consist of sophomore and junior students.
*Students of each university will be divided into 4-6 groups. One SNU group and one UT group then make up one joint group. One (or two ?) joint group(s) will make their presentations in one class.
